A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. Is it a long rug or a short runner? Either way, the putty brown field shows a characteristic repeating pattern of squares, rectangles, layered petal rosettes, sickle leaves and oblique hexagons, a design also found on Malayer scatters. The narrow beige main border shows simplified stars and a trapezoidal linking meander.
