An antique Persian Sultanabad carpet. The light mustard ground displays an allover rosette and palmette pattern in a subtly bilaterally symmetric layout with copious powder blue details. Big, detached, hollow turtle palmettes occupy the nearly black main border. Unusual size and palette for this desirable western Persian village type.
