A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The pale blue field features two prominent, gently scalloped ivory medallions, each enclosing a petal-like palmette. Additional palmettes, along with serrated leaves and boteh motifs, provide supporting elements. The large-scale design follows Sultanabad protocols. A wide light blue strip-style border showcases imaginatively rendered palmettes. The carpet's rare proportions and size, paired with its decorative palette, make it especially striking. The plain light blue outer surround complements the overall design.
