An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. The variegated lightandy-beige field is closely covered by spiraling rust arabesques in a semi-Mustafi allover pattern. The dense decoration gives it a sandy beige tonality. The border opens up with more grey ground exposed which frames the lancet leaves and palmettes.
