An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. Angular arabesques form an allover pattern enclosing palmettes and rosettes, along with the usual fill of nano-devices. The rug is a study in browns and other neutrals with the tonality dominating the pattern. As with Tabriz carpets generally, the pile is short, the weave is medium fine and the drawing is neatly regular.
