An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. Seven slender vertical rods form the basis of a multiple layer vinery with upright and tilted palmettes all in the “Vase carpet” style on a straw-beige ground. The warm medium brown border displays palmettes within broken floral wreaths on this well-drawn NW Persian city carpet.
