A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The golden beige field displays a large four-part, old gold medallion with four internal conforming palmettes. Palmettes and arabesques in the field continue the same reduced palette. Light rust border with batwing forked arabesques and oblique corner palmettes. A very decorative piece for the right space. Light tonality makes it seem even larger. Originally a special order.
