An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. A pale rust ground is closely covered with an allover array of small leaves and vegetal motives, with small details often picked out in dark brown. The slate border provides a definitive frame with rosettes alternating with square stylized bud sections in the “Vase carpet” manner.
