An antique Persian Tabriz Haji Jalili rug. Fifteen rows of botehs alternate face right and left on the brown ground with an ivory flower and stem border. The weave is quite finely woven and the precise execution is of the elevated ‘Hajji Jalili’ quality of Tabriz rugs and carpets made between 1880 and 1910.There is no blue or rust in the colour palette.
