A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Under teal spandrels, and within a burgundy niche, Shah ‘Abbas kneels on the jeweled pale blue royal throne. He is easily recognized by his extravagant mustache and bulbous turban. Light blue border with reversing fan palmettes and flanking ivory guard borders.
