An antique Persian Tabriz rug. Tabriz does Kerman. Matching the floral density of Kerman rugs, this northwest Persian city scatter has a layered effect in the field with hundreds of rosettes, buds, tiny palmettes and stubby vine sections. Cypress trees alternate with ‘lollipop’ flowers in the light blue border. The tonality, however, is strictly Tabriz, as is the short, erect and resilient pile.
