An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. Although the abrashed tan to graphite ground actually has a palmette, rosette and lancet leaf allover pattern, the small dark brown petal circles swim about most apparently. The triple vine pattern of the brown main border enmeshes reversing palmettes on this NW Persian subdued town large carpet.
