A collage of the ruins of the palaces and buildings of Persepolis in SW Persia are silhouetted against a pale blue sky, with a frieze of royal guardians, an animal combat, and the Great Staircase in the front below. Border of more armed retainers, rhytons and axes. The surviving columns with animal capitals are not shown. Finely woven.
