A Wool pattern wefts in slit tapestry technique. A kilim doesn’t have to be truly antique to be great, and this one-piece rustic creation is a perfect example. The tripartite field in ecru and red transitions seamlessly into the neighboring areas with finger fringe details. The central ecru panel features a near-black hexagon, surrounded by stars, hooked elements, ashiks, and small pincers. The border is adorned with more hooked elements, creating a vibrant display of ornamentation. The field flows effortlessly into the border, complemented by zigzag end borders. This vintage kilim is crafted to the highest antique standards. Good condition.
