The straw-beige field of this coarsely knotted, wool foundation west Anatolia piece shows a basically a three-by-three arrangement of lazy palmettes, upright symmetrized palmettes, diagonal open palmettes on spiral vines, and a rosette center. Rust red abrashed main border with rosettes and hyacinth sprays. Unusual size, very bold drawing.
