Wool weft-patterned strips. This six-section piece features primarily brown and straw-beige stripes and panels, with a few partial 'daggers' and scattered lines in tangerine, teal, and chocolate. The weaver of the original long strip used natural, undyed sheep wool, along with whatever colored yarns were at her disposal. The result is an unplanned, rustic work, full of tribal artistry.
