A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton warp. This unusual long tribal scatter rug shows a twelve-panel design with similar human female figures in each reserve, which may be either camel-tone or near black. The panels are surrounded and separated by geometric strips featuring an alternation of lozenges and paired Vees. Main border of diamonds in an ecru simple lattice. Could be Turkman, but probably Baluchi given the use of camel hair or camel tone wool.
