A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This interwar mat features a teal-blue field with a prunus spray, a soaring butterfly, and a scholar’s rock (tai hu stone) rising upward below and breaking into the border. Skinny borders in dark blue, teal, and buff frame the design. Knotted fringes and contour cutting remain intact.
