A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This outstanding geometric Art Deco carpet from the early 1930’s shows a borderless olive-grey field dominated by an offset tangerine, cream and black roundel medallion enclosing a square-off spiral. Striped concave lower corner and horizontally banded upper corner. Looks like an Art Deco radio or other artifact. Not for everyone, but it goes great with a Deco interior! thick pile. Probably from the Nichols factory. And unique.
