Wool embroidery on wool. Not India, but the sultanic tughra in one red niche-shaped section identifies it. A long red cartouche takes up nearly half of the field, and ecru cartouches with mirror calligraphy are separated by squares of radiating conical palmettes. Stars and crescents speckle the field panels. Main red border with more, repeated calligraphy. Vertical long orientation.
