A vintage Persian Bag Face. Each red panel displays a luxuriantly maned standing lion in cream and orange. The lions have human facial features and look out at the viewer in the same manner as the larger beasts on Qashqai lion rugs. The “bridge” is leather reinforced and striped with weft-float pattern designs. The leather strengthenings and closure strips are a Persian feature and the bags rustic Persian.
