Vintage Persian Flatweave Room Size Carpet

All-cotton construction, reversible. While Persia has a long tradition of weaving these all-cotton, extremely durable carpets, there is currently only one factory capable of producing them on a specialized loom. The pattern is reversible, with black on white reversing to white on black, featuring a small repeat of columns of diamonds in broken squares, separated by small cartouches. The borders are not continuous but follow a strip style, with stepped diamonds in the opposite color. In as-new condition.
