Vintage Persian Flatweave Long and Narrow Gallery Carpet

Wool pattern wefts on a cotton foundation. This solidly woven, bichromatic, very long piece features the characteristic Zilu repeating pattern of interlocked squares, diamonds, and crosshatches in cream and near-black. The cream end borders are adorned with matching rows of stars, while the sides and interior minors showcase a doubled sawtooth pattern.
