A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. A totally abstracted Kazak design, with a central pole medallion of three blank ecru cartouches, on a bold ruby red field. Hooked separators and finials on the pole. Letter ‘A’ at one side of field. Ecru border with chains if diamonds with long, hooked extenders. Striking, tricolor palette.
