A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. A visual pair to rug #28072. Woven with a short warp, with a red field centered by a bust-length figure of a crowned ruler or nobleman, garbed in abrashed charcoal and teal. Rosettes, flowers, and cloud bands decorate the field. The corners are rendered in light blue and tangerine. A sea-green border with reversing fan palmettes is complemented by a bitonal dotted outer minor border.
