A wool pattern woven in slit tapestry and plain weave techniques on a wool warp. This micro kilim may have formed the back of a pillow or pushti. The abrashed plain brown field is framed by an abrashed keyhole and stepped open blue border, with stripes and tuning fork chains along the ends. Once a pillow, always a pillow.
