A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation features two partially depicted figures peering out from a green and mustard background, below a scalloped red field. Stems, stalks, flowers, and florets decorate the field. The corners are bone-colored. A faceted black and cream zigzag reciprocal border frames the design. A small tab or patterned square is placed on the left, creating a quasi-sampler effect. A charming and naïve small rug.
