A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. A vintage Persian Malayer runner. A visual pair to rug # 24713. Change the ground tone to a lighter pearl grey and change the whole character. The narrow pole medallion of attached lozenges organized the sharply bent leaves and rows of small rosettes. The pale straw border of this west Persian village kenare ( runner ) displays classical fringed pyramidal palmettes along a stretched pale blue-grey vine.
