A vintage Persian Malayer rug. The characteristic octagram Karajeh medallion has been set on a slate field displaying a rustic version of the allover 'Herati' pattern on this antique Persian Malayer rug. Very simple, geometric turtle palmettes reverse position on the light tan and grey main border of this rural scatter from northwest Persia.
