A Wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The geometrically shaped slate grey field shows an ingenious variation on the Herati design, with the essential open diamonds transformed into a central pole dividing the field and the lancet leaves paired and angled. The Herati pattern is essentially infinitely malleable. The straw main border finds characteristic pyramidal palmettes on a formal tendril. Slightly mellow palette.
