A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This very unusual village Malayer scatter features a giant rust–goldenrod stepped and fringed lozenge medallion enclosing a single, elaborated Herati module with rosettes and sickle leaves surrounding a focal lozenge. The corners contain additional Herati fragments accented with royal blue. A narrow main border is animated by reversing fan palmettes.
