A vintage Persia Nain carpet. This central Persian city carpet has an extremely fine weave and a short pile of excellent quality wool. Rarely are Nains this large, and their colors are bright and sharp. This piece has a somewhat muted medium brown, beige and ivory overall tonality. There is a small, central rosette around which the rinceaux and palmettes move in complex motion.
