A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The ecru field features a riderless horse galloping energetically to the right, positioned above a group of three women, the central figure smaller and dressed in red, blue, and pale green outfits reminiscent of 19th-century Persian military attire. Below, a spreading palmette is centered. The rose-colored border displays floating rosettes and serrated leaves in a modified strip style. The source remains unresolved, and the iconography of this intriguing group (or groups) is not yet clearly defined. The weave is moderate.
