Within a beige border of fluted columns, ruler portraits and ceramic vessels, a pensive, well-drawn maiden sits on a rock on the edge of a stream with reeds and spindly saplings scattered about. The water reflects the scene above. The design of this very finely knotted urban pictorial was taken from a European painting.
