A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Two giant antlered deer face off across the straw-sand field of this Qashghai pictorial scatter, deftly supported by tall, slender plant forms, with various birds, sheep, and botehs throughout. Full-length trees line the field edges. Rose border with cartouches. A very amusing rug, well suited for wall display.
