A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. On a crimson ground, the op-patterned tiger heads rightward, into a crowd of proud peacocks and little animals. The face of the tiger is boldly striped and the rearmost leg has a textile pattern. The abrashed light to sapphire blue border displays botehs and rosettes, in a double stranded arabesque. Characteristic Qashghai black and white chessboard strips at each end. One of our substantial collection of lion and tiger rugs from southwestern Iran.
