A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This Sarab-style, camel-tone kellegi (long rug) features an allover tinker toy pattern of roundels connected by diagonal and horizontal bars. The border echoes the field design, adding a plain dark brown inner stripe. The structure suggests a Hamadan origin.
