A Wool pile of symmetric knots on an all-cotton foundation. The ivory field, while technically featuring an allover Herati pattern, is predominantly structured around large, prominent rosettes set within open diamonds, with swirling lancet leaves at their centers. The palmettes, which would typically hold equal prominence, are here reduced to near insignificance. The rust-colored strip-style border displays reversing turtle palmettes. The weave is medium, uniform, and even, with a brisk, short pile. In good condition.
