The striated abrashed rust ground of this short warp Persian pictorial displays four pairs of perching and flying birds in straw or green against a lightly drawn leaf and tendril background design. The cerulean blue border features reversing fan palmettes with an outer bitonal red and ivory triangle reciprocal.
