A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This long scatter presents a pattern closely derived from Caucasian Kazak rugs, with an ecru “sunburst” medallion and vertically attendant partial lesser medallions, on a steel-slate field. There are tertiary half, deeply hooked, side and corner medallions as well. Straw strip style border of rosettes and octofoils in the Farahan Saruk / Afshar manner.
