Vintage Turkish Anatolian Tribal Room Size Carpet

This wool pile carpet, woven with symmetric knots on a wool foundation, is nearly square in shape. It features two striking stepped, 12-point sand medallions on a burgundy field, with matching burgundy inner motifs. Two narrow panels, though purely ornamental, do not bear dates. The charcoal border is adorned with a floral chain, and the piece is finished with wide wool macramé end finishes.
