Vintage Turkish Flatweave Kilim Room Size Carpet

Wool warp-faced bands. Six warp-faced bands, with the lateral ones intentionally narrowed, in tan, old gold, medium blue, and brick, have been side-sewn to create this carpet. The original weavers used such rugs as floor coverings, room dividers, and furniture substitutes in rustic dwellings. The size can be further adjusted in all four directions. The basic material can come preassembled, as shown here, or in long bands/rolls that can be cut and joined to suit a particular client.
