Wool warp-faced weave. Stripes never go out of style, though this piece certainly shows some age. The natural, undyed bands vary in width and feature toothed joins, with earth tones of browns, cream, and near black. Narrow bands have been cut to size and edge-sewn. A rustic creation made from the villagers' own sheep, it was used as a floor covering, room divider, or as a supplemental blanket during colder weather. In good condition and completely authentic.
