An antique Caucasian Kuba Pillow. Extracted from an east Caucasian Kuba scatter, this fragment-turned-pillow displays two “Memling guls” with hooked edges, all detailed in green, dark blue, straw yelsandy beige, ecru, and brownish red. A lazy ‘Z’ design borders and separates the panels, and is doubled at one end where the weaver started, stopped and began anew.
