An antique East Turkestan Khotan carpet. A burnt salmon field is centered by a dark blue circular ‘moon’ medallion. Tall flowers sprout from the scalloped inner field edge. A broad plain outer border frames the whole. Maybe from Yarkand, another Central Asian oasis city.
