A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Three similar, reversing still-life depictions of vessels and trays on stands, containing flowering stems, opium poppies, and Buddha’s Hand citrons, are arranged in stacked echelons on a brisk red ground. The outermost border is plain red; the others include one with a Turkmen repeat and two with reversing carnations.
