A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The near black field hosts a bold, Neo-Baroque pattern of a small central wreath immediately supported by four C-scrolls. This motif is further supported by thick stems with corner floriated escutcheons. Small floral baskets emerge from the stems. Near black main border with broken thick strapwork and decorative flowers. The outlines are usually doubled. Not Regence nor Louis XV nor Second Empire, but utilizing elements from all of them. Moderate weave. A carved effect without the carving.
