An antique Indian Textile. The denim blue ground displays a floating pole medallion composed of linked diamonds with four smaller striped diamonds closely set about. The technique is tapestry weave with no slits. Could be, but probably isn’t, south Persian, possibly not Indian, Syrian maybe. Makes a great wall hanging or back-of-the-couch throw regardless.
