A wool pile on a cotton foundation. Though it has a Caucasian appearance, it is more likely Persian in origin, featuring a crowned and jeweled queen posed against a medium blue ground, framed by converging arched flowering trees. Peacocks and other birds perch among the branches. A narrow border system surrounds the field, with the central band adorned with colorful, floating dots.
