An antique Persian Bakhtiari rug. This comparatively well-woven Chahar Mahal west-central Persian village rug has scalloped half side medallion and pendanted half end medallions, all on the dark brown field and within an ecru rosette and flowering stem border. The end motives utilize half octofoils in a yellow camel khaki.
